Lasagne Rolls Stuffed With Smoked Chicken and Pesto

Enjoy these easy Lasagne roll ups stuffed with smoked chicken and pesto. They're so quick and easy to make, you and prepare them well in advance!


1 packet of smoked chicken
500 ml of milk
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp butter
10-12 pasta sheets
1 teaspoon mustard
10 grinds of Tardka Garlic seasoning
1/2 teaspoon mixed herbs
500 shredded mozzarella or a mix of cheddar and mozzarella


  1. Start off my making a roux (thicker) in a heavy bottom saucepan.
  2. Melt the butter, add the flour and cook until the paste starts to thicken and pull away from the sides of the pan. Add in 500ml of cold milk. Turn the heat down and whisk until thick.
  3. Add the seasonings, let cool slightly and add mustard and cheese followed by diced smoked chicken.
  4. Boil the pasta sheets according to packet instructions, and brunch with olive oil to prevent them from sticking. Cool slightly.
  5. Add pesto, slightly cooled chicken with sauce on the lasagne sheet and roll them up.
  6. Pour the leftover sauce over the rolled up pasta sheets and dress with cheese.
  7. Bake at 190C fan for 10-15 minutes on the top rack or until cheese becomes golden brown.
